Start Your Career with Power Realty

In order to become a real estate agent, you need to take the prescribed courses for real estate that are guided by state licensing requirements. These courses are designed to provide a comprehensive education that thoroughly prepares candidates for licensed activities in the real estate business. The courses' primary focus is on providing the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for an agent to best serve and protect the interests of the public in all real estate matters.

Real estate agents are usually independent sales people who provide their services to a licensed real estate broker on a contract basis. In return, the broker pays the agent a portion of the commission earned from the agent's sale of a property. Brokers are independent business people who sell real estate owned by others; they also may rent and manage properties for a fee.

At Power Realty our focus is on assisting you to make the most informed decision about entering a career in real estate. We will provide you with information about the industry, about the requirements of the career; the costs associated with becoming a Realtor, and some insight about what it's like to work as part of the Power Realty family.
